Sunday Adepoju Omo-yin has send his condolence message to the people of Ibarapa east/Ido federal constituency especially the APC members within this region over the sudden dismissed of a member of APC executive at ward 10, Mrs Akinsola Dasola popularly called ”U” and ”Me”. Mrs Akinsola Dasola (u and me) before her death was one of the executive members of APC at ward 10 and a bonafid member of the progressive family. Mrs Akinsola slept in the Lord today 29/6/2021 and the burial is scheduled for tomorrow. Hon.   How Gov Makinde Sacked COS Ilaka, 17 Commissioners Governor ‘Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Tuesday, announced the dissolution of the state’s Executive Council. Those affected include Chief of Staff (CoS) and 17 Commissioners. The Cabinet was constituted on August 14, 2019, following Makinde’s historic victory in the March 9, 2019, election. The remaining Council members who were not affected include the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Head of Service (HOS) and the Director General of Due Process office. A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that Makinde announced the dissolution of the Executive Council after a meeting of the body on Tuesday, which lasted about five hours. Governor Makinde, according to the statement, expressed the gratitude of the government and the people of Oyo State to the Council members, and wished them well in their future endeavours.   Alleged defilement: Court grants Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha, bail The Lagos State Special Offences Court has granted embattled Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha, bail in the sum of two million naira. Delivering a ruling on his bail application this afternoon, the presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, ordered that the actor be released on bail while the trail continues. The judge ruled that the actor must provide the amount alongside two sureties, one of which must be a legal practitioner and the second a family relation. The judge, however, said that the actor must perfect the bail terms and conditions within the next seven days. She said the trial would begin on July 26 through 27 and 28 respectively. The actor is being tried for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.
