Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has retraced his step against the family of the late former governor Abiola Ajimobi by renaming the First Technical University, Tech-U, after his immediate predecessor. The herdsmen, according to an eyewitness account, numbering over twenty, allegedly invaded the school with their cattle and injured some of the students and teachers. Some of the students and their teachers, among whom are Mr Paul Olabode, were inflicted with sword and machete cuts, while many others were left with broken legs and hands. Plot To Install Interim Govt Is Real; DSS Confirms, Speaks On Politicians Involved  According to the Department of State Services (DSS), a plot by “misguided” political actors to suspend the constitution and install an interim government is real. In a statement issued on Wednesday, DSS spokesman Peter Afunanya vowed that the secret police will use all weapons at their disposal to foil such a plot. The secret police also stated that some key players in Nigeria’s plot for an interim government had been identified.
