Uche Secondus Suspended As PDP National Chairman   Chairman  Prince-Uche-Secondus The leadership crisis currently rocking the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worsened on Monday, August 23, 2021, as a High Court in Rivers State has restrained Prince Uche Secondus from parading himself as the National Chairman of the party. The order was given by Justice O. Gbasam at the State High Court sitting in Degema Local Government Area of the state. The judge who gave the order, also approved the suspension of Secondus as a member of the party pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.   Secure UNIJOS Against Killings, ASUU Urges FG   The Academic Staff Union of Universities has advised the Federal Government to secure the University of Jos against killing of its staff and students before the reopening of the school. The union said this in a statement on Sunday following a security breach in Jos and other parts of Plateau State, leading to the killing of some students, a development which forced the university’ management to shut the institution. The N760.717 billion total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N617.705 billion; distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N140.555 billion and Exchange Gain of N2.457 billion.
