FG commences 14-day Paternity Leave for Male Civil Servants Federal civil servants will henceforth get a 14-day paternity leave. This was announced by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, in a circular with ref no: HCSF/SPSO/ODD/NCE/RR/650309/3, dated 25th November, 2022, and titled, ‘Computation of Leave Based on Working Days and Approval of Paternity Leave in the Public Service’. Esan said the leave is in line with the provisions of the Public Service Rules, 2021 Edition. It read; “Government has also approved Paternity Leave for serving male officers whose spouse delivers a baby. The period of the leave shall be fourteen working days. JUST-IN: Adeleke Suspends OSIEC Chairman, Members 0 The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has ordered the immediate suspension of the Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, Mr. Segun Oladitan. A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tesleem Igbalaye, on Monday, also suspended six members of the Commission with immediate effect. The suspension was said to have been based on several petitions bordering on financial impropriety, dereliction of duty, absenteeism and abuse of office against the said Chairman and members of the Commission. Adeleke freezes Osun bank accounts ADELEKE FREEZES OSUN BANK ACCOUNTS   Sen. Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was sworn in on Sunday at Osogbo as the sixth executive governor of Osun. He immediately ordered the freezing of the state’s accounts in banks and in other financial institutions.
