Oyo NLC Treating Makinde, Give Notice For Strike  The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Trade Union Congress, TUC, and the Joint Negotiating Council in Oyo state has issued a January 31, 2023 date to embark on strike should the state government fail to fulfil its promise to pay the unions five months check off dues and cooperative deductions.   Constitution Amendment Bills :  Oyo, Others State Assemblies Yet To Forward Resolutions "> Oyo state House of Assembly and eight other State Assemblies are yet to forward their resolutions on the Constitution Amendment Bills to the National Assembly. Ekiti Senator, Opeyemi Bamidele, made this known while presenting the report to the lawmakers, on Tuesday in Abuja. He said that 35 bills have been considered by 27 State Houses of Assembly (SHA) and approved by at least 24 state assemblies as required by law.  He added that the state assemblies, however, failed to vote on the two bills that seek financial and legislative autonomy for local governments.   The Senate urged the Gombe, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kwara, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, and Zamfara assemblies, which have yet to forward their resolutions on the bills, to do so.
