2025-Christmas: Akintunde Felicitates Christians at Christmas, Calls for Love, Kindnes, Tolerance



The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr Yunus Akintunde, has extended warm Christmas felicitations to Christians across the country, urging them and humanity at large to uphold the virtues of love, kindness and tolerance.

In a message released through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Kunle Olatunji, Senator Akintunde reflected on the true essence of Christmas, describing the birth of Jesus Christ as a symbol of simplicity, goodness and selfless love which remains indelible in human history.
According to the Senator, these virtues should continue to guide not only the Christian faith but also relationships among people, noting that peaceful coexistence and unity are indispensable to collective progress.

He further encouraged citizens to use the festive season as a period of prayer, compassion and renewed commitment to humanity, stressing that far more can be achieved through togetherness than division.
“In the spirit of the season, I urge us to emulate the grace of love, kindness and tolerance as fundamental principles of our faith, which guarantee our capacity to achieve much more together than when we are divided,” he stated.

As Nigerians celebrate Christmas, Senator Akintunde prayed for God’s abundant blessings and benevolence upon families, communities and the nation in the years ahead.
