Engr. Hakeem Alao Mourns Late Sarkin Hausawan Ibadan, Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru; Describes Him As A Pillar Of Unity
Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences following the passing of the revered leader and Sarkin Hausawan Ibadan, Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru.
In a condolence statement released Tuesday evening through his media office, Engr. Alao described the death of the traditional leader as a significant loss not only to the Hausa community but to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. He characterized the late Sarkin as an "irreplaceable" reservoir of knowledge whose leadership was defined by peace, humility, and commitment to progress.
Engr. Alao noted that Alhaji Zungeru was a rare example of an accommodating leader who dedicated his life to fostering harmony among diverse ethnic groups.
“Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru during his life a leader who build a strong unity among his people within the society. Engr. Alao stated. “His contributions to peace stability and unity in Ibadan and across Oyo State will be always remembered.
The statement further commended the late leader’s role in ensuring that the Hausa community in Ibadan remained a beacon of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
Engr. Alao emphasized that Sarkin's efforts toward the development of his host community and the nation at large remain an inspiration for future leaders.
He offer a prayer for the family and the entire community who are mourning during this trial time.
“May Almighty Allah grants our father, leader, and peace ambassador late Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru Aljannah Firdaus and forgives his shortcomings. The Almighty Allah will accept his good deeds and reward his lifetime of service to humanity." The statement concluded.
