A prominent political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ona-Ara Local Government, the Isokan Ona-Ara Progressives Group, has officially debunked a misleading publication circulating in some online news outlets. The group was responding to a headline titled *"Ona-Ara APC Advocates Rotation, Backs Akinola,"* labeling the report as a calculated attempt to disrupt the peaceful coexistence and internal harmony currently enjoyed by the party in the local government.

In a statement released to clarify the events of yesterday, the Isokan Group explained that the APC Ona-Ara held its scheduled monthly meeting at Elekuro High School, Ibadan. The primary objective of the gathering was to provide a platform for various State Assembly aspirants to formally declare their intentions to the party faithful. The group categorically stated that at no point did the party stakeholders endorse any federal representative aspirant. The claims of a rotation agreement or specific backing for an aspirant are fabricated and aimed at causing chaos within the party ranks.

The group cautioned individuals who are desperate for positions to desist from spreading unreliable information and misleading the general public. The Isokan Ona-Ara Progressives Group reiterated its unwavering commitment to the unity of the APC. They emphasized that the focus remains on building a formidable front to ensure a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections at both the state and federal levels.
