In a move that has sparked widespread celebration across Ona-Ara local government area in Oyo State, the All Progressives Congress [APC] has officially announced Hon. Funmi Obisesan as its flagship candidate for Oyo State House of Assembly upcoming 2027 elections. The announcement, made during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held earlier yesterday, was met with an outpouring of enthusiasm from community leaders, youth organizations, trade unions, and party members. The party cited Obisesan’s unflinching integrity, proven track record of community service, and vision for sustainable development as the primary catalysts for her selection.
