Eid-el-Kabir: OYHA Deputy Speaker, Fadeyi Felicitates Muslims, Preaches Unity, Reaffirms Govt's Efforts on Security
The Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Mohammed Abiodun Fadeyi, has extend his warmest felicitation to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message issued on early this morning, Honourable Fadeyi, who represents the people of Ona-Ara State Constituency, urged Muslims to imbibe the core virtues of obedience, sacrifice, and faith, which define the sacred season. According to the lawmaker, the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir offers a profound opportunity for deep reflection, spiritual rejuvenation, and a renewed commitment to collective national progress.
"Eid-el-Kabir is not just a period of celebration, but a reminder of the ultimate power of faith, obedience to higher callings, and selfless sacrifice. As we mark this holy season, i urge all Muslims and citizens of Oyo State to let these virtues reflect in our daily interactions, fostering a spirit of togetherness and mutual respect." Fadeyi expressed.
Highlighting the importance of national cohesion, the deputy speaker emphasized that the current socio-economic landscape requires Nigerians of all faiths to stand together. He called on residents of Oyo State to reject divisive tendencies and instead channel their energy toward peaceful coexistence and supporting community-building initiatives.
Addressing critical concerns of the public, the Hon.
