The Oyo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) formally addresses and clarifies the circulating misinformation regarding the party’s strategic direction and leadership ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The party categorically debunks recent misleading publications, suggesting that the Oyo State PDP has entered into an alliance with other political organizations. The party wishes to state unequivocally that these reports are baseless fabrications designed to sow discord and create unnecessary tension among our loyal party members and the general public.

The party further clarifies that His Excellency, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi, the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, remains the authorized leader overseeing the party’s affairs.
