$10bn Train Project: Senate Tackles NCDMB Over Violation Of Local Content Laws The Senate on Wednesday upbraided management of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) over an alleged breach of local content laws being carried out by SAIPEM in the execution of the $10billion Train 7 gas project. Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, disclosed this during a meeting held at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, on Monday. . The meeting was convened by the Senate President,Ahmad Lawan, with Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, and Group Managing Director, of NNPC Limited, Mele Kyari, in attendance. Factional delegate lists threaten APC convention, party may back govs C’Appeal reserves ruling on Kano, Lagos faction defects to PDP APC governors after the meeting. Fresh tension is brewing in the ranks of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the party’s national convention slated for February 26, 2022. There are indications that delegates will be drawn from factions loyal to the governors or most senior Federal Government officials or political office holders in the states without APC governors, INSTANTnews  has learnt. The exception to the party move may be in Kano State where an FCT High Court has recognised the faction led by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau.
