Oyo Labour Unions Give Makinde 7 Days To Implement FG Wage Award By INSTANTnews The Organised Labour in Oyo state has given the state government 7 days ultimatum to implement federal government 35, 000 naira as wage award for workers and 25,000 naira for pensioners or risk industrial action. In what gathered by our Correspondent and reports that, the organised labour comprising of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Trade Union Congress, TUC and the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP came to the concession during a congress held at NLC secretariat, today in Ibadan. According to the Oyo State NLC Chairman, Comrade Kayode Martins and TUC Vice Chairman, Comrade Oluranti Oluwemimo, the only thing that would strengthen the industrial harmony between the unions and the state government was if it tolls the step of the Federal government.
