Go And Get Resgister And Get Your PVC-Ona-Ara For Folarin (OFF''23)  Tells Oyo Electorates


As 2023 general election is drawn near, electorates in Oyo Central and Oyo state in general have been called upon to go and register in order to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) as to be able to votes.

A group under the All Progressive Congress in Oyo State known as Ona-Ara For Folarin (OFF''23) made this call through a release through the group coordinator, Hon. Ismaila Akanni popularly known as Akanni-Ere and make it available to journalists on Sunday. 

Hon. Akanni who was the former council chairman Ona-Ara local gov. emphasises the need for electorates to collect their permanent voters card.

“as 2023 election is drawn nearer, it is important for our people to get register and collect their PVC’s when need arise. This will give them opportunity to cast their votes for the candidacies of their choice''.

“just like Oyo INEC had declared that they still having over 700,000 PVC’s with them, I  appeal to you all to go and check if yours is there and collect it in order to be able to discharge your civic responsibility when the time comes''.Akanni concluded.

Hon. Akanni also urged those who are yet to be register to use the opportunity in an ongoing online registration and participates effectively in the continuous voters registration exercise in order for them to be able to choose effectively.

He said, with this on going exercise, no Nigerian will be left out of participating in the election.

He added that the continuous voters registration can be online  which will reduce overcrowding at registration centres in view of security situation and the Covid-19 pandemic, and make registration processes easier.

He emphasised the need for electorates to participate effectively in the on-going continuous voters registration exercise in order to be able to choose the leaders of their choice.
