Sunday Omoyin Greets Christians On Christmas,Charge Them To Be More Prayerful And Focus 


Hon. Sunday Adepoju popularly known as Sunday Omo-yin has extend his  Christmas greetings to Christians in Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency and Oyo State in general.

The Eruwa born politician and Chairman Swaga''23 urged Christians in Ibarapa, Ido and Oyo State at large to be prayerful, sober and circumspect as they celebrate 2021 Christmas, which signified the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Hon. Sunday Omo-yin made this call in a goodwill message he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday 24th,Dec.,2021 through his S.A on media and publicity, Com-Adesokan Opeyemi.

Sunday Omo-yin was member house of representative, who represented Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency between 2011-2019. He is currently the Chairman Southwest agenda for Asiwaju 2023 Oyo State Chapter(SWAGA''23).

Hon. Adepoju urged the Christians to be more prayerful for Nigeria especially during this time that the Northern part of the country is facing some security challenges.

As we celebrate this year Christmas, let extends our prayer to our brothers and sister living in the Northern part of the country due to the insecurity around the place. Also let be sober and circumspect in everything we do as that was what the birth of Jesus Christ signified.

Hon. Sunday Omo-yin also admonishing Christian faithfuls to continuing in demonstrates love, peace and unity which is full essence of what we are celebrates as Christmas.

 Hon. Adepoju also charge Christian faithfuls to follow all the precautions and guidance of Covid-19  and advice them to take the vaccine to reduce the spread of the deadly disease.

According to Sunday Omo-yin, “Nigeria has the third highest number of COVID-19 cases in Africa after South Africa and Ethiopia. The country is also experiencing third wave of the deadly virus. Hence, this call for the increasing in vaccination rate ”.

About 110 million Nigerians were the target of  government to vaccinate, within the next two years. Presently, about 3 million Nigerians have had at least one shot. This means we still have a long way to go if the country is ready to fight against this deadly disease.

So, I want to urge everyone to be more serious and committed to the ongoing vaccination as we all know that prevention is better than cure. Sunday Omo-yin concluded.
