Yuletide: Akin Alabi surprise Egbeda/Ona-Ara Constituents, Distributes Food items And Cash To Celebrate Christmas

It was a joyful day for the people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara local government respectively yesterday when a member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency at the green chamber of National Assembly Hon. Akinola Alabi distributed foodstuffs and cash to member of All Progressive Congress APC and people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara local government area of oyo state.

According to INSTANTnews correspondent, the program which deliberately organised for the distributions of some food items like rice, semovita, groundnut oil among others with cash to APC members and Egbeda/Ona-Ara Constituents to celebrates this year Christmas and new year with heart full of joy .

The rice which has been packed in a yellow nylons in 1kg each with other food items was distributed to individual with cash attachment of #1,000 to every individual that attended the event.

In his speech, the newly elected APC chairman in Ona-Ara local government, Mr Ogundipe, express his satisfaction on the performance of Hon. Akin Alabi and encourage him not to relent in his good deed.

Com-Oyelami Kola who was the outgoing Senatorial youth leader of the party(APC) also appreciate Mogaji Akin Alabi for extending dividend of democracy and kind gesture to the good people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara. He prayed he( Akin Alabi ) will finish well.


When reacting, Mrs Felicia popularly know as Iya-Adua appreciate Oloye Akin Alabi for always assists Constituents and party faithfuls in one way or the others.

He didn’t start this good deed today, he has been doing this for long, I pray you will live long in heath and wealth in Jesus name. Iya Adua stressed

In his speech, Hon. Akinola Alabi appreciates all the party leaders and member of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ona-Ara and other constituents for honoured the invitation and come today.

He then charge the party members to make sure they attend ward meeting regularly.

”I want to tell you that our party APC is a loving party and the love within the party make it stronger everyday. Don’t relent in any activities that can promote the party and I promise you that I won’t let you down. Akin Alabi expressed”.

Hon. Akin Alabi express categorically that by 2023 APC would take over the state and his wish was Sen.Folarin occupy the sit.

Other Ona-Ara prominent personalities that graced the event were Balogun Atolu, Oloye Sulaimon Moshood, Hon. Lekan Eso, former Sec.to Ona-Ara LG, Baba Taiwo, (outgoing APC Ona-Ara chairman), Hon. Akanni Ismaila Ere(former Caretaker chairman), Mrs Felicia among others.
