ASANIKE SALUTES IBADAN CHIEFTAINCY INSTITUTION FOR PROMOTING LOVE, PEACE AND UNITY IN IBADAN LAND
AS the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engnr. Seyi Makinde has, in conjunction with the Ibadan traditional chieftaincy institution, announced the name of the next Olubadan of Ibadanland, a scion of former Olubadan and Oyo South Senatorial aspirant, Prince Kola Asanike has lauded the Governor and members of the Olubadan traditional council on the peaceful final resolution of challenges which had engaged the whole of Ibadanland for some years.
When given an answers to different questions by journalists in Ibadan today Wednesday, 16th February, 2022 especially on the matter of the new Olubadan designate, Asanike expressed his commendation for the way elders and leaders of Ibadanland have come together to resolve on the side of peace and solution.
"I'm impressed by the efforts of both the governor and the elders and leaders who were involved in the pre-disposition to peace efforts to ensure the issue is finally resolved."
"I praise their standard and willingness to promote peace and unity in Ibadanland and this is worth emulating by other communities in Oyo State to reveal our dynamism at resolving issues."
The scion of the late Chief Yusuf Oloyede Asanike dynasty prayed that the new Olubadan designate would live long to bless Ibadan and other communities in Oyo State with traditional wisdom to reign with abounding peace in their various places.
