Ona-Ara NUT To Distribute Souvenirs, Lunch Funds For Union
The Nigeria Union Of Teachers Ona-Ara chapter is set to distribute Souvenirs, launch fund raising for the union building and unfolds more benefits for members on Thursday 1st December, 2022 at union house in Elekuro High school Ibadan.
Nigeria 🇳🇬 Union Of Teachers is one of the most recognised association in Nigeria. The union is a major trade union in Nigeria. It was formed to create a united front for practitioners of the teaching profession in the country. Major objectives of the union covers the improvement in economic conditions of teachers, an avenue for bringing forth ideas about educational development of the country from the perspectives of teachers and general economic security for teachers in the country. The union with branches in all 36 states in Nigeria. Oyo state is not left out which has branches in all 33 local governments that constituted the pacesetter state.
Every plan is set for the distributions of year 2022 souvenirs for teachers in Ona-Ara local branch of NUT. When addressing the press this morning, the deputy chairman of the union in Ona-Ara, Com-ADEWALE ABDULAZEEZ explain that, the union has concluded every plan for distribution of this year souvenirs for teachers in Ona-Ara.
"It is their right and it has due for long. I assure every teachers that this Souvenirs will be given to every teachers in Ona-Ara and they will all like it. The program will holds this Thursday 1st Dec, 2022 at our union house in Elekuro High school".
"Alots of program has been laydown for the event, among are fund raising for our uncompleted union building, launch of some wlefarism packages for Ona-Ara teachers and lots more'. Com-Adewale expressed.
He also noted that, each school are to represent by two teachers at the venue of the program that will kick-off by 11am on Thursday 1st December, 2022 at Elekuro High School, Aba-onde along amuloko-Ogbere tioya road Ibadan.
When appreciating all teachers in Ona-Ara, Com-Adewale said that, without the member's supports, there won't be any success recorded by com-Olajire led-adminstration. He also appreciate the immediate past chairman of the union in Ona-Ara, com-Tayo Makinde for his unrelenting supports towards the success of the union.
Com-Adewale also noted that, the late in the distribution of the Souvenirs was due to some financial constraints the union encountered some years back and promise that from now unward, teachers welfarism would be the top priority of the union in the branch.
Among the dignitaries expected at the program are the Deputy Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Muhammad Fadeyi, Chairman Ilaji Hotel and Resorts, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, Chairman, Oyo State NUT, Com-Raji, Chairman Blissfarm kitten and bar, Mr Fakayode, Hon. Akin Alabi, Hon. Kazeem Akinjide, Hon. Ismaila Akanni, Sen. Teslim Folarin among others.
All representatives from each school are to be on sit by 11am.
