JUST-IN: Oyo SUBEB Open Portal For Recruitment, To Lunch Soon

Oyo state government has lunched a portal for the recruitment of primary school teachers into public primary schools in the state.

On Tuesday, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), revealed the application portal during a press conference in Ibadan, the state capital.
This newspaper had earlier reported that the state government plans to recruit 7,000 teachers and 100 caregivers for public primary schools.

According to Dr. Adeniran, the recruitment aims to fill vacancies in public schools across the state.
He said the portal will begin accepting job applications as from this week, and will remain open for the next three weeks.

He said application will close on Tuesday, 9th of July, 2024.

He added that after the portal has closed, applicants will be shortlisted for a computer-based test, followed by an oral interview for those who passed the test.

Dr. Adeniran urged the public to cooperate with the Oyo state government and the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).

He said any issues or complaints should be directed to the board via the phone numbers and email addresses listed on the job portal.

He emphasized that the application is free, and applicants should not pay anyone to apply or to get shortlisted.

He advised applicants to provide all required information, as failure to do so may disqualify them from taking the computer-based test.
