Senator Akintunde Pays Tribute To Late Oniroko, Describes Him As Exceptional Traditional Ruler

Senator Yunus Akintunde has expressed shock at the announcement of the passage of Oniroko of Iroko, His Royal Highness Oba Ismaila Olasunkanmi Abioye Opeola, who died early hours of today.

In a release made available to the media through Kunle Olatunji the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Yunus Akintunde, he described the late Monarch as quite exceptional and highly respected among his subject and other traditional rulers within the Oyo State traditional Council.
"I received with shock the news of the demise of Kabiyesi Oniroko of Irokoland, His Royal Highness, Oba Ismaila Olasunkanmi Abioye Opeola, Kunrunlolu 1"
