Hon. Alabi Calls For Palliative Road Work on Alakia-Asejire Road

The federal lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency , who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Works, said the palliative work would ease free flow of movement on the road axis.

According to Hon. Alabi, the federal government had terminated the contract of the contractor handling the road project and re-awarded to another contractor.

Hon. Alabi added that as Chairman, House Committee on Works, he ensured the new contractor was in Ibadan to personally inspect the road project.

The representative of the CBC global company handling the project, Mr. Yuan promised to begin work on the road.

In an interview with newsmen, a road user, Mr. Ademola Aliu commended Hon. Alabi for facilitating the project.

Mr. Aliu noted that the road would ease movement of commuters, after completion.
