Ramadan 1447 AH: Oyo Central Senator, Yunus Akintunde Congratulates Muslims, Enjoins Prayers, Spiritual Renewal and Benevolence
The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Yunus Akintunde, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the commencement of the 1447 AH Ramadan fasting period.
In a statement made available to the media through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Kunle Olatunji, the lawmaker urged Muslims to embrace the sacred month as a period of deep spiritual reflection, steadfast prayers and supplications, and renewed commitment to acts of love and benevolence.
He encouraged the faithful to use the holy month to strengthen their connection with Allah, foster unity, and extend compassion and generosity to humanity as a way of life.
"I wish all Muslim faithful in Oyo Central, Nigeria, and across the world a blessed and peaceful Ramadan filled with spiritual growth, self-reflection, and a deeper connection with our faith. May we continually extend love and benevolence to humanity. May our fasts be accepted, our sins forgiven, our prayers answered, and our hearts filled with joy and gratitude.”
