Ridwan Ademola Adegoke Emerges as NANS South-West Deputy Coordinator; Promises Inclusive Leadership
Following a highly anticipated transition in student leadership, the former Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Oyo State, Comrade Ridwan Ademola Adegoke, has officially emerged as the Deputy Coordinator of NANS South-West (Zone D).
In an acceptance statement released shortly after his emergence, Adegoke described the milestone not as a personal triumph, but as a victory for the collective student movement in the region. Addressing a diverse assembly of student leaders, stakeholders, and comrades, the newly minted Deputy Coordinator expressed profound appreciation for the trust placed in his vision.
"This victory is not mine alone," Adegoke stated. "It is a reflection of collective belief, shared sacrifice, and unwavering support from leaders, stakeholders, senators, colleagues, and comrades who trusted this purpose and believed in this journey."
Adegoke, known for his active tenure as the Oyo State NANS Chairman, emphasized that his new role would be defined by service and accountability. He pledged to move away from exclusionary politics, focusing instead on "humanity-centered" results.

The emergence of Ridwan Ademola Adegoke is seen by many analysts as a strategic move for NANS South-West.
