The political momentum for the 2027 gubernatorial race in Oyo State gathered fresh steam over the weekend as Honourable Ifoluwapo Oyedeji, a stakeholder in Ona-Ara local government APC and coordinator of the Neighbour-to-Neighbour campaign initiative, extends the campaign footprint of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA) deep into the hinterlands of the council area.

The intensive grassroots mobilization tour featured the official launch and inauguration of the Neighbour-to-Neighbour campaign structure across several strategically vital settlements, including Adigun, Gbedun, Akinyanran, Elese-Erin, Araromi, Olohunda, Faada, Oloku, and Aare-Alase among others. Moving from village to village to ensure comprehensive neighborhood coverage, Honourable Oyedeji engaged directly with community leaders, elders, youths, and agrarian workers. 

He noted that the deliberate decision to take the campaign directly to the doorsteps of rural dwellers underscores Senator Alli’s inclusive political philosophy, one that leaves no community behind in the collective vision for the state's future. Unpacking the core tenets of the BSA governance blueprint during the interactive sessions, Oyedeji highlights targeted interventions designed to revitalize neglected rural economies.

"Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli’s blueprint is not designed for urban centers alone, it is a holistic roadmap crafted with the grassroots at heart. Our rural communities are critical to the food security and economic prosperity of Oyo State. Under BSA, you will witness a deliberate shift in government policy, one that brings tangible infrastructure, functional primary healthcare, accessible farm-to-market roads, and real socio-economic development directly to your doorsteps." The extensive tour resonated strongly with local residents, who turned out en'masse to endorse the initiative and declared the full support to Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli for Oyo state governor in 2027. Community representatives expressed profound appreciation for the outreach, noting that previous administrations often overlooked smaller settlements during electoral cycles.
